GameplayWe Were Here Tomorrow is built entirely around cooperation between two players. The Explorers are frequently separated, meaning each player may see different clues, mechanisms, or parts of a puzzle. Communication becomes essential as you describe what you see, compare information, and determine what actions your partner needs to perform.
Each player also receives a unique high-tech tool that can be used to interact with the facility and overcome obstacles. Puzzles are designed around combining these different abilities and perspectives, requiring coordination rather than individual problem-solving. A working microphone and internet connection are required for the cooperative experience.
StoryDuring an expedition to save fellow Explorers, you and your partner become trapped beneath the ice of Antarctica. When you awaken, you find yourselves inside a facility belonging to Norček Industries with little memory of how you arrived there.
The facility's Director, Kathleen Bowe, explains that her research team disappeared while working on an important breakthrough. With a global crisis approaching, she asks the two Explorers to continue their unfinished work. As you venture deeper into the complex, new questions emerge about Norček's experiments, the missing researchers, and the real reason you were brought there.
